Christos Kalarritis

Municipal Councillor of Ilioupoli

Bio

He has origins in Epirus and the village ‘Kalarrytes’ in Ioannina.  He was born in Pokista, a village in the mountains of Nafpaktia.  He is a member of a large, rural family.

He graduated from secondary education and was head of the Technical Services Division of the Hellenic Civil Aviation Authority for 35 years.

He served as President of an Association (Ilioupoli) for 16 years and Vice President of the Federation of Associations for 6 years.


He was also a District Councillor of Agia Marina, Ilioupoli for 4 years.

Since 2012, he has served the citizens of Ilioupoli as unpaid Deputy Mayor for Environment, Civil Protection, Road Safety, Transport, Accessibility for the Disabled, Technical Support of Municipal Vehicles – Machinery and Homeless Companion Animals.
