Panagiotis Aggelopoulos

Municipal Councillor of Zografos

Bio

He is a Political Scientist specialising in International Relations and an Economist, dealing with issues of Local and Regional Development, Public Administration and European Policy.

He received his PhD with distinction in Economics from the Department of Public Administration of Panteion University. He is also a holder of an MBA from Nottingham Trent University and an MPA in European Economic Policy from Panteion University.

He has studied Economics, Business Administration and Management and Political Science and History at La Verne University, the Alexander Technological Educational Institute of Athens and Panteion University.


In 1999, he founded CALIROTA Worldwide Management with the aim of providing a comprehensive framework of services in collaboration with leading companies in various fields and better customer service by employing professionally qualified scientists.

He has served as a member of the Executive Committee of the Trade Union of the Association of Municipalities and Districts of Attica for managing waste and recycling in Attica and also the National Strategic Reference Framework 2007-2013 for the Central Union of Municipalities in Greece.

He has worked as Founder and Manager in investment and shipping companies, as General Manager and Administrator in Organisations of the Ministry of Education, as well as a member of the Board of Directors in Piraeus Port Authority S.A.
