Bio

With origins in Nafpaktia, he comes from a farming family both on his father’s side, Spiridonas Zorbas and on his mother’s, Dimitra Zorba.

He is married to Maria Apostolou and together, they have two daughters, Dimitra-Haritini and Eleni.

He started attending Medicine at the University of Athens in 1974. After the completion of his studies and his military service, he acquired the medical speciality of Doctor-Pulmonologist at the Thoracic Diseases Hospital of Athens, ‘Sotiria’ in 1989.


In 1985 he started his own private practice where he practiced medicine until 2010, while also working as a Pulmonologist at S.I.I (Social Insurance Institute) of Agia Paraskevi.

Throughout this time, he also voluntarily offered his medical services to Municipal Medical Centres, Clinics or Practices which provide medical services to those in need.

Since 2014 he has been Chief of Medicine and Pulmonology at the Heath Centre of Agia Paraskevi.
